| Purple
Salute was created to celebrate life, bravery and courage.
In a time of upheavel and discontent, the courage of those
who protect us is tested time and time again. For those service
men and women who are willing to 'take that one step more'
it really is time to say THANKYOU.
To our MILITARY and EMERGENCY SERVICE
men and women who give so much, WE SALUTE YOU.
The
Purple Ribbon
Wear the purple ribbon with pride. Let every service man and
woman see it, wear it constantly, show you care.
Contact Us for yours.
The
Living Tribute Trail
We intend to plant a tree in every town and city in this country,
somewhere for everyone to go and give thanks for the safety
of their loved ones serving their country throughout the world.
'When the serving men and women
of today become the veterans of tomorrow, the Living Tribute
will bear witness to their bravery and of those following
behind'
Hampers
Every Christmas, we aim to expand our delivery of hampers
to those serving 'at home' but away from their families.
RAF, ARMY, NAVY, POLICE, FIRE, AMBULANCE services all give
up their time and take continuing risks every day of the
year. We WILL be there for them.
The
Book of Pride. All your comments and
feeling wrapped in this Book of Pride which is to be sent
all around the country and overseas bases as a symbol of your
Pride.

Bob O'Connor, in whose memory,
Purple Salute was created.
On January 30th 2005, Hercules XV179 was brought down in Iraq
and all ten on board lost their lives. In their memory, and
for all those who have fallen in defence of their country,
Purple Salute was formed to allow the public to show how much
they care about those who continue to work for freedom and
safety.
My beloved fiancee, Bob loved life, and enjoyed it to the
full. He cared about and respected the people with whom he
served, and it is for them, the friends and colleagues he
left behind that we intend to say Thank you.
Bob, we will always remember you with
a smile. Now, Forever, Always.
And for my son, who was so seriously hurt one year and 29
days before Bob died. With so many thanks to the police and
paramedics who ensured that he is with us today.
We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to Neil
Thomas, who built this website and designed the fliers
out of respect for a very dear friend, and out of consideration
for those who carry on 'taking that one step more'.........
