Our aim is to encourage everyone to consider the role that our Military and Emergency Services play in every day life.


Each day, we have the freedom to go about our daily business safe in the knowledge that this is our right.


This freedom that we take for granted is upheld by those who choose to take on the job of protecting our future, whatever the odds.

This is our chance to say thank you.

We are a non-political group;
Purple Salute was formed only to support the Service Men and Women who will ‘go one step further’ for our sakes.

But...
It doesn’t stop there – behind the scenes, community work by the Services, continues, usually without ceremony and often without general public knowledge. It really is time to say thank you.

Purple Salute intends to give the Great British Public the opportunity to Restore National Pride. Pride in our Services. Pride in Ourselves.

We would like every service man and women to know, that each time they see the purple, someone cares.
