returned the signatures lists. It is much appreciated.'
We the undersigned, feel that the courage
and strength shown by our serving Military and Civilian Emergency

After having seen this site in its
infancy, I am more than thrilled that it has become so huge
and that the work that it set out to do is being accomplished.
My father was in the RAF and my uncles are from a military
background yet I have never known such emotion from reading
this site. Being in the forces, emergency services etc, is
a job I could never do but I take my hat off to all those
that are passionate about our past, present and future. For
every son, daughter, father, mother, wife, husband, nephew,
niece and so on, may your family’s pride be an expression
of the country.
Come home safely
Gail Babatunde, Staffordshire
I would just like to say a BIG THANK
YOU to all our service men and women, it's about time this
country did something to recognise the brilliant job done
by these brave men and women, without the bravery of our troops
where would we be , I shall wear my purple ribbon at all times
with pride.
I would also like to say to my son-in-law currently serving
in Afghanistan how very proud we are of him and the job he
does as well as all the other armed forces, may god bless
you all and bring you home safe and well .
G.A.Holyoak-Foster, South Yorkshire
I admire and support you all return home safely from wherever
you are
Graham Moore, Welshpool
I think it is really important that
we get behind all our service men and women. It does not matter
if you agree with whether or not they should be there. The
point is they are!! Therefore they deserve to know their country
is behind them!
Thank you!
Celia EVANS
Great work by our unsung hero's.
Derek and Val Freer, Whittington
To all the brave lads and girls that
risk so much each and every day - remember that when things
are getting you down, there are people that support and respect
what you do. Keep smiling, but more importantly stay safe
x
Julia Batham, Tamworth
To the Guys and Gals at the sharp
end, we support you even if those in power don't. Being ex-service

through. May you all return safely to your families.
Alan & Min Batham Tamworth
As at various times over the years,
I have been a daughter (and daughter in law) of, a wife of,
mother of, sister of and various other ‘ofs’.
I was born into the RAF and my husband served for 22 years,
my son is currently serving in the RAF.I am so pleased to
be able to add my thanks to all those who serve. So much is
given with so little recognition for the sacrifices made daily.
I salute you all.
Pauline Trick, Leconfield, East Yorkshire
THANK YOU ALL, I come from a service
family and know how people take for granted what you all do
on a day to day basis with very little appreciation or recognition.
I will be proud to wear a purple ribbon to show my support.
Louise Trick, Market Weighton, Yorkshire
Thank you, whichever part of the Armed forces or Emergency

As an ex-matelot who served in the
Falklands and the 1st Gulf War I fully support what you are
aiming to achieve in ensuring that those who have given so
much in recent times are remembered too. You also importantly
encompass not just the military but also the Emergency Services
who risk their lives and give every day too.

I was born during WW11, so I probably
would not be here- or I would be speaking German – were
it not for your brave predecessors (including the many who
served to keep civilians safe at home). Next came those keeping
my children safe through the “cold war” Now I
am relying on those currently serving to keep my grand-children
safe. My thanks to you all.

Good Luck and thanks to all of you

To all the brave, professional men
and women who make the silent majority proud to be British,
I say to you many of us may disagree with how the Government
has taken us to war, but we are 100% behind what you are doing
and will never be able to repay the sacrifice that too many
of you have had to make. You’re doing the job that most
of us wouldn’t and couldn’t do. Come home soon.

Having 4 children to my ex-husband who is still serving in
the royal navy, a brother who was in the army and numerous
friends throughout the forces, I am a huge supporter of what
our lads and lasses do.
The politicians do the organising of conflicts while it is
our forces, with grit and determination who see it thro and
keep us safe.
Keep up the good work guys because Ifor one support your hard
work and unfaltering courage in what you do!

We have thousands of servicemen in
dangerous situations all across the world. Whether or not
you agree with the motives behind this mobilisation, the fact
remains that our Army, Navy, Airforce and Emergency Services
are there, far from their homes and families, in conditions
that are far from ideal. And they deserve our thanks. They
deserve our respect. They perform tremendous acts of courage
and bravery in the course of their normal working day. How
many of us can say that?
